School Visits

Discover history in action:

Our Learning team offers a range of curriculum-linked museum visits and workshops that are tailored for both primary and secondary school students.

These interactive programmes give pupils excellent learning opportunities about military history across Cumbria through engaging hands-on experiences and activities, right here in the Museum. Students will be able to handle real museum objects, explore a reconstructed trench, use a morse code machine, and dive into discussions.

School trips at the Museum can include self-guided visits or more structured workshops with our staff. We also provide CPD sessions for teachers.
