Evening Visits and Community Outreach at Cumbria’s Museum of Military Life
Cumbria’s Museum of Military Life offers specialised evening visits tailored for community groups, as well as a diverse selection of talks and activities that connect groups with the Museum.
Evening visits
Our evening visits provide exclusive museum access outside of our normal hours for all types of community groups including Scouts, Brownies, Cadets, youth groups, school clubs, and adult social groups.
Make an evening visit to our Museum for a memorable, one-of-a-kind outing!
Activities
We offer a wide range of activities at the Museum, tailored to match your group’s interests, abilities, ages, and experience with military history.
Activities may include object handling, talks, games, arts and crafts and tours showcasing our military exhibits. Groups can work towards badges and find out more about local history. There are engaging opportunities for all ages and backgrounds.
Planning your evening visit
You can choose timings to suit your group, but we suggest your visit is no less than an hour. Perhaps you could visit with another unit or group on the same night?
