Whether it’s your first visit or you’re seasoned regulars, there’s plenty for families to do at the Museum.

Tickets are valid for the full day and includes access to daily activities and temporary exhibitions.

Facilities and Access:

To make things easier when you visit with little ones, we have easy-to-find changing facilities, are breastfeeding friendly and have suitable options for children in the Café. Picnics are also welcome and can be enjoyed at the tables outside of the Museum. Both the Museum and Café are fully accessible with a buggy.

Activities, Events and Resources:

At the front desk, we have a gallery trail available to occupy the younger ones while you explore our exhibitions. Don’t forget to let a member of staff know that you’ve completed it before you leave to receive a special reward.

In the galleries, you’ll find a variety of interesting displays, interactives and hands-on experiences… Including a morse code machine!

Every Wednesday during the holidays, we host FREE drop-in craft workshops which are included in the regular admission price. You can view our upcoming events here.
