Rev Theodore Bayley Hardy VC DSO MC – Cumbria’s Most Highly Decorated Non-Combatant in WW1
Chester Forster
After researching the history of the Rev. Theodore Hardy for an ongoing project on churches, Chester was inspired to give talks about this most remarkable clergyman who won the three highest gallantry awards in a period of nine months.
