Did you have a family member in the Border Regiment who served at Arnhem?

Why not come to one of our family days  between 11am an 4:00pm on:

Saturday 13th July and Sunday 8th September

Join us for a dedicated family day at the Museum. Each day starts with an introductory talk, an opportunity to visit our temporary exhibition, followed by a showing of Theirs is the Glory. A chance to meet other Arnhem families and share stories. Bring photos and memorabilia with you! Light lunch included.

50 tickets available per day – only five tickets per family permitted.

Tuesday Talk

Arnhem – 80 Years On Tuesday 10th September 2024

Illustrated talk by Stuart Eastwood one of the author’s of When Dragons Flew: An Illustrated History of The 1st Battalion The Border Regiment 1939-45
at Cumbria’s Museum of Military Life (in Carlisle Castle)
Doors: 5:30pm for a 6:00pm start

Arnhem Commemorative Dinner Saturday 14th September

A fundraising dinner- all proceeds in aird of the musem.  After a pre-dinner drink and private view of the Museum’s Arnhem 80: The Aftermath and Legacy exhibition, join us for a three course-meal in Burm Block for an Arnhem-themed evening. £35 Tickets and further details will be available fro 14th July.
