Our Casual Museum Assistant role maybe for you…

 

We require casual staff to help support the Museum – from front of house roles, special events, exhibitions, family activities – and provide cover for staff absences.

We are seeking applicants who are enthusiastic, self-motivated with good communication skills, who are computer literate.

Joining our casual team is perfect for anyone looking for a flexible way of working, to develop their skills and to help look after our history – all supported by an excellent staff team.

You will work on an ‘as and when needed’ basis in order to support our Museums service. Although there will be an agreement to undertake work, you are under no obligation to accept the hours offered.

Based in the Museum within Carlisle Castle, our Casual team will support the Museum and cover sickness, periods of annual leave or during specific periods of work.

We cannot guarantee hours on a regular basis.

Interviews will take place on Tuesday 24th March at Cumbria’s Museum of Military Life in Carlisle Castle.
