THE ‘LONSDALE’ DINNER
The Committee of the Friends of Cumbria’s Museum of Military Life cordially invite you to take tickets for a fund-raising dinner in aid of the Museum.
The Dinner will be held at the Museum on Saturday October 12th 2019, at 18.45hrs for Drinks and Hors D’Oeuvres with dinner 19.30 – 23.30hrs.
The six-course meal is based on a menu for a dinner held by the Officers of the 11th Lonsdale Battalion of The Border Regiment at Hombleux, France in late 1917.
Tickets are £50 per person and include a complimentary drink served on arrival and each table will have two bottles of wine and soft drinks for the meal.
Guests will be able to view the Museum and the current temporary exhibition A History of The Regiment in 100 Objects.
A cash bar will be available for the purchase of additional drinks, bottles of wine and port.
Dress – Lounge Suit/Jacket & tie
Tables of eight people, Parking will be available on the Castle Square
