During the final days of the Second World War, for 900 Allied officers, held by the Germans in POW camps Oflag IX A/H and Oflag IX A/Z, freedom was still a world away. Peter will tell the human story of six interesting men from these camps while they were force marched East, away from the liberating Allied Forces.

This talk will be streamed via Zoom. Those wishing to watch the talk can either do so in the comfort of their own home, or on the projector screen upstairs in Cumbria’s Museum of Military Life.
